Another large group of CPTC runners ran in the NYRR track meet Thursday night, although, for some reason, Glen Carnes didn t run that night. The mile, being the first event, never seemed to end, lasting from 7:00 – 8:40 PM. Natalie Gingerich won the mile, and broke five minutes, running 4:57.4, becoming only the sixth CPTC woman to run under five minutes. Of course, since Natalie is second on the CPTC 1500 meter list with a 4:27.19, it was not terribly surprising, but still, a significant accomplishment. Full results will be coming shortly.
