Back in September, on the same day as the 5K cross country points race, many CPTC members traveled to Pennsylvania to run in the Philadelphia Distance Run half marathon. The results are now posted in the “race results†section of the website. Can you say total domination? The first four teams overall were CPTC teams (three men’s open teams and the first women’s team). The CPTC men’s masters team won their division and was only beaten by two non-CPTC open teams.
Russ Pfeffer led the men with an excellent 1:13:08, good enough for tenth place in his division. Next was Eric Boucher, who ran 1:14:15 and Neil Brenner in 1:14:27.
The CPTC women won their division and beat all of the non-CPTC men’s open teams. Lauren Gustafson set another PR with a 1:19:35 for second place in her division. This moves Lauren up to third place on the all-time CPTC Half Marathon list. Lauren was followed closely by Katy Masselam in 1:19:56. Katy won her age division and that time moves Katy up to fifth place on the all-time list. Allison Lind ran 1:21:46 which moves her into eighth place on this list.
