The brackets for the NCAA basketball tournament were announced yesterday, which means it s time for everyone to get their picks in. And what better place to enter those picks than in the annual CPTC Tournament Challenge? (Don’t answer that — it s a rhetorical question.) Just click here, or go to the ESPN tournament page, and select group CPTC with password cptc.

This is a great way to earn bragging rights over all your teammates, and also a trophy of some sort. Plus, just like in the CPTC World Cup pool last summer, there will be a prize (but no trophy) for best entry name. And sometime soon there will be a permanent page on this site with past winners, so you can see your name immortalized in this pantheon:

2006

World Cup – Brian Schaffer

World Cup Name – Ray Prybylski (Wo liegt Berlin ho)

March Madness – Tyronne Culpepper2005

March Madness – Alan Ruben

2004

Olympic Trials – John Prather

Olympic Trials King of the Distance – Alan Ruben and Jesse Lansner (tie)

So, what are you waiting for? Start filling out those brackets so you can start taunting your friends!
