Day One Run
Anyone near Albany or willing to make the treck on January 1, is invited to participate in a short run through Washington Park with new Governor Eliot Spitzer as he makes good on a campaign promise he made this fall during a speech at the Lake House, where he promised that if elected, he would run in Washington Park on the morning of his inauguration.
The two-mile run will begin promptly at 6:00am in front of the Lake
House amphitheater. Participants are asked to arrive in Washington
Park between 5:30 and 5:45am via Henry Johnson Boulevard and park on
the interior roads as directed. The Spitzer team asks that you email
run@inaugurationny.org if you plan to attend, so that they may guage
anticipated turn-out.
