CPTC’s Sean Fortune and Kristina Maletz won the Henry Isola Classic in Van Cortlandt Park last Sunday (August 31). This 4-mile, double-loop course, with two heart-stopping climbs up Cemetery Hill, is the traditional pre-season opener for the NYRR cross-country season. Besides Sean (22:19) and Kristina (27:29), nearly everyone else in the club who turned up managed to snag an award.
