We had a great crew at the Broad Street Run in Philadelphia ! As you can see from the fabulous photo of orange. I wanted to mention a few stand out races and PRs.
For the women:
CPTC won the team competition by eight minutes over Greater Philadelphia.
Sarah Alaei placed 10th female overall with a PR of 60:03!! So close to breaking 60. She rocked it! Kir Selert ran her 1st 10 mile race for an automatic PR of 61:11. I ran a solid race of 62:06 – but a minute off my PR from last year (about what a felt in shape for). Kristan Dietz had some GI issues and it just wasn’t her day. Stacy ran a solid masters time as well!
For the men:
Giancarlos is on a PR streak! He nailed a big PR running 55:19. Ken Tso also had a solid race and ran a PR of 61:15. Stuart continues to prove we can run speedy well into our 50s with a solid time. Patrick fought a cold and takeover of allergies this weekend, so was struggling to breath (let alone race).
Overall, a great race! We represented the strength of CPTC.
