Olympic Trials Week!!! We had some fantastic performances.
In Eugene at the US Olympic Trials Heather Miller was top 10 in the Heptathlon! Lisa Daley won the Masters 400 and Terry Ballou finished 5th, amazing performances!
At the Jamaica Olympic Trials CPTC represented with 2 individual champions and a bronze. Zara Northover won the Shot Put & Kateema Riettie won the Javelin. In the Mens 800 Darryll Oliver came home in 3rd. Also in the 400 Terrence advanced to the semi-finals.
Back home in NYC we had a huge showing at the NYRR Tuesday Night Speed Series at Icahn. I haven’t seen official results posted yet but needles to say we had some impressive performances. At the end of the meet we held a CPTC 4×400 inter-squad relay, thanks to Joe Kennedy for coordinating! Lots of pictures up on Facebook and Flickr. We also had a stung contingent at the Dashing Whippets Track Meet at the 6th St track, check out the pics!
