Congratulations to Josh Feldman on winning the 2007 CPTC March Madness Pool. Josh was one of only two people in the pool to pick Florida as the winner, and not only beat 2005 champ Alan Ruben, but also beat the National Bracket entered by Noah Lansner, which simply copied the most popular picks on ESPN. In honor of his win, Josh will receive a trophy one of these days.

The award for best entry name goes to Felice Kelly for Midwest is the best. It wasn t much of a competition, since the only other named entry — excluding my own inelligble one — was Ben Gutman s Lawyers make better lovers, which was of questionable standing, since Ben never put in any picks. The fact that both names are demonstrably false statements — lawyers don t make better lovers, and the Midwest is clearly not the best at anything — would probably have doomed both these names had any of the rest of you bothered to name your entries. Remember that for the next competition (hopefully the European Cup this summer).
